This is a hard one to answer. Because some of the slimy feeling is your natural skin oils. Most people are used to the damaged skin that tap water causes. So it can feel slimy when you have your normal levels of natural skin oils. Also, our systems allow you to regulate the softness, so you can make it feel comfortable for you.
Does your system just soften the water or does it filter as well?
This is a key difference with Element’s systems. We make sure our media (filter) takes out contaminants in the water. Our bodies absorb chemicals through our skin, so we feel that just softening water is not doing right for our customers. We still recommend our drinking water systems for cooking and drinking. because our whole home softener and filtration systems won’t take out all of the contaminants.
