Benefits of Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water
Removal of Contaminants
RO systems effectively remove contaminants from water; these include impurities such as dissolved minerals, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, and other pollutants.
Improved Taste and Appearance
The filtration process eliminates many substances that contribute to unpleasant tastes and odors in water. Additionally, it enhances clarity, resulting in clean, fresh-tasting water.
Alternative to Bottled Water
Installing an RO system at home provides a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to buying bottled water. Moreover, it eliminates the need for single-use plastic bottles and reduces overall costs.
Alkaline pH Levels
Alkaline water has a higher pH level, which helps your body absorb water and stay hydrated. Enjoy the health benefits of better hydration.
Convenience and Accessibility
A reverse osmosis system at home provides a constant supply of purified water. This eliminates the need to purchase bottled water and ensures easy access to clean drinking water.

How Does Reverse Osmosis Work?
Reverse osmosis, driven by pressure, filters contaminants from water through a semipermeable membrane. Water moves from the membrane’s concentrated side to the less concentrated side, yielding clean drinking water. The resulting purified water is referred to as permeate, while the concentrated water remaining is waste or brine.
Additionally, tiny pores in the semipermeable membrane block contaminants while allowing water molecules to flow. In osmosis, water intensifies as it passes through the membrane for equilibrium. In reverse osmosis, it prevents contaminants from reaching the less concentrated side. For instance, pressurizing saltwater in reverse osmosis leaves salt behind, letting only clean water through.
Our Multi-Stage Filtration Process
Sediment Filtration
First, sediment filtration catches and removes visible particles and impurities, such as sand, silt, rust, and other debris from water.
Carbon Filtration
Next, contaminants such as disinfectant byproducts and volatile organic chemicals (VOC) aren’t removed by reverse osmosis alone.
Reverse Osmosis Membrane
Then, impurities are removed by pushing the water through tiny holes in the membrane. They prevent contaminants larger than water molecules from going through.
Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)
Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) or extruded carbon filter removes any additional adverse smell or taste from the water. The result is purified and enjoyable water specifically for your drinking and cooking needs.
Remineralization
Finally, remineralization restores healthy minerals to reverse osmosis water, countering potential acidity. It can also elevate the water’s pH recognized as having health benefits.
Enhances drinking water by removing:
- Calcium and Magnesium
- Iron <1ppm
- Sediment Heavy Particulates
- Methylisoborneol (MIB) and Geosmin
- Pesticides and their metabolites (e.g. Metolachlor ESA and OXA)
- Organic Matter (TOC) and disinfectant by-products precursors (DBP)
- Algea Toxins (Cyanotoxins) Such as Microcystins
- Man-made chemicals, such as PFAs
- Volitile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
- Endocrine Disrupting Compounds (EDC) and micropollutants
- Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Products (PPCP)
